'UNIFI' is no longer used to identify ISO 20022

The ISO 20022 Registration Management Group (RMG) has decided to abandon the nickname 'UNIFI' for 'UNIversal Financial Industry message scheme'. The standard is best known as 'ISO 20022' and use of a dual name is confusing. On this website, the term 'UNIFI' has been replaced by 'ISO 20022'. 'UNIFI' may still appear in materials posted previously on this website and will progressively disappear when these materials will be replaced by new versions.

The RMG encourages the community to stop using 'UNIFI' to refer to ISO 20022 - Universal financial industry message scheme.
