27 September 2006 - The first meeting of the new FX and Trade Services SEGs took place at SWIFT Headquarters in La Hulpe, Belgium on the 26th and 27th of September. The meeting was very successful and the two SEGs are now ready to operate. The FX SEG already includes a total of 25 experts from 11 countries and 3 liaison organisations. Mr. Ludy Limburg from ABN AMRO (NL) was elected convenor. The position for vice convenor remains empty at the moment. CLS presented its candidate UNIFI “Forex Notifications” messages to the SEG members who agreed to all participate in the Evaluation Team. The Trade Services SEG already includes a total of 19 experts from 11 countries and 2 liaison organisations. Ms. Katja Lehr from IFSA (US) was elected convenor and Mr. Dominique-Pierre Barthares from BNP Paribas (FR) was elected vice convenor. ACBI presented its business justification about Invoice Financing Request which will lead to the first set of messages to be evaluated by the Trade Services SEG.
