The Payments SEG approved three new UNIFI messages for bank-to-customer cash management

5 March 2007 - After a thorough evaluation with representatives of the Securities SEG, the Payments SEG has approved three new UNIFI messages submitted by ISTH and ISITC:

These messages complement the previously approved 'payments initiation' (pain) and 'payments clearing and settlement' (pacs) messages, now offering a full suite of messages throughout the lifecycle of a credit transfer or direct debit payment. The new messages will be published in the Catalogue of UNIFI Messages in April.
